Partnership Working between the London Borough of Redbridge and the Metropolitan Police (Weapon Sweep).

On the 22nd May Clementswood and Loxford SNT conducted a joint Weapon Sweep alongside Community Protection Taskforce Officer’s , Sam Brough Head of Allotments for Vision and councillor Zulfiqar Hussain. The weapon sweep took place in at the Staines Road allotments that backed onto Clementswood & Loxford roads. Searches were carried out in in overgrown area’s, concealed spaces and boundary lines within the allotment.

The operation aimed to reduce the risk to reduce risk of harm, disrupt criminal activity, provide reassurance to the local community and strengthen Partnership Working between the London Borough of Redbridge and the Metropolitan Police.

No weapons or prohibited items were located during the search, however, the activity provided valuable opportunities for future problem solving and ongoing partnership working.
